At Hotel Plaza A Coruña, we see sustainability as a responsible way of looking after people, our environment and the resources we use.
That is why we have a Sustainability Policy and a Sustainability Plan for 2025–2028, with specific actions aimed at reducing our environmental impact, improving the wellbeing of our team and moving towards a more responsible consumption model.
The Q for Tourism Quality recognises tourism businesses’ commitment to quality standards and continuous improvement in the provision of their services.
The S for Tourism Sustainability recognises the integration of sustainability into the management of tourism organisations and their commitment to a more responsible model.
Given that, in the area of sustainability, actions linked to SDG 7, SDG 8, SDG 6 and SDG 17 have already been actively incorporated, our 2025–2028 Sustainability Plan identifies SDGs 3, 9 and 12 as priorities.
We look after people
Our kitchen caters for those who cannot eat gluten and is certified by the Spanish Federation of Coeliac Associations (FACE). We also look after the people who make your stay possible, with physiotherapy available to those who need it. And very soon, new mattresses in all rooms, so you can rest even better.
Technology to make us more efficient
We’re modernising the hotel from the inside out: smarter air conditioning, a more efficient laundry facility and a refurbishment currently underway in our rooms, designed with efficiency and sustainability in mind. All to make your stay increasingly comfortable, whilst minimising our environmental impact.

Sustainability is an ongoing process.
Our Sustainability Committee carries out an annual review of the Plan, analysing indicators, identifying potential deviations and defining new improvement measures. This ensures that our commitment to sustainability is a living tool, adapted to the reality of the hotel.
Because for us, looking after our guests also means looking after people, resources and the environment around us.
